Run a Shelf If you have a wall in your kitchen that does not have any cabinets on it then it is the perfect place for you to run a shelf. Running a shelf will allow you to put whatever you wish on that shelf and will free up a great deal of extra space in your kitchen. Most people stick to putting decorations on kitchen shelves, but the sky is the limit and really depends on your taste and storage space needs.
Shop Smart Appliances can quickly become the bane of any kitchen. While they are extremely useful, appliances have several characteristics that make them inherently bad for your space. You can not stack anything on your blender or your coffee maker. Plus, they have separate pieces that can easily get lost. This means that you need to make a conscious effort to only purchase appliances that are necessary and unique.
Add an Island. If it is storage space, not floor space, that is the problem, the addition of a kitchen island is relatively quick and easy and can solve all your storage problems instantly. There are many different styles you can choose, from the most basic kitchen islands with just a few cupboards underneath to really rather sophisticated ones that have their own small sink. Another advantage of adding a new kitchen island is that it can also often do double duty as a casual dining area without gobbling up too much extra square footage.
